Eastern Finland Sports Institute’s apartment ISLO Hostel (Finnhostel Joensuu) is an excellent place to stay for individual travelers, families and groups. Our hostel is located in a quiet neighborhood in the center of Joensuu. The hostel has 24 comfortable and practical rooms in one and two bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a kitchen and bathroom. All of the stores and services that Joensuu provides are a short walk away from the hostel.
Room rates include breakfast, bed linen and towels. You can also book sauna.
Breakfast is served in breakfast room downstairs Mon-Fri at 6.30-9.00 and Sat-Sun at 8.00-10.00. Lunch and dinner for groups (min 10 persons) must be ordered in advance.
We have a playground in the backyard and a playroom for children. There are books, toys and games in the children’s playroom. We also provide free parking with block heaters in the back of the hostel.
With Hostelling International card you will get -10% discount.

The equipment in the kitchen/kitchenette includes a fridge, a coffee maker, an electric cooker, a microwave oven, and tableware. Each bedroom has two beds, a TV and WiFi.

- Single room 57 € / night in a two-bedroom apartment
- Double room 91-89 € / night in a one- or two bedroom apartment
- Extra bed 32 € / night or mattress 25 € / night
- Children -50% (4-14 years), under 4 years free
- Family package 91 € / night (2 adults and 2 children under 15).
One- room apartment, mattresses for the children - Family package: 124 € / night (2 adults and 2 children under 15).
Two-bedroom apartment - Pet fee 15 € / stay
